The Bughouse 5 (also known as The Bughouse Five) is a Vancouver, Canada-based roots, rockabilly, and country-blues band. Formed in 1991, the band is led by singer and primary songwriter Butch "Big Boy" Murphy. For decades, they have been a staple of the West Coast live music scene, releasing acclaimed albums such as 24 Hour Charlie.
